I'm kicking off my return with a Fringe Off collab with these lovely ladies below - the only criteria of joining our 'style-offs' is that you rock a bold, sassy fringe.

Ruffles are the main inspiration, taking cues from the catwalk (think subtle Roksanda against extreme J.W. Anderson) and Zara's tempting window displays, each blogger has styled the theme in their own way showcasing a varied response.

The ruffle boldly announces the feminine touch to the outfit, subtle is something it fails at. There's something I love about vintage blouses and shirts, the cut is usually boxy and the shape exaggerates the shoulders. I've found my two favourite blouses from vintage stores and both feature ruffles. The blouse in this outfit folds out beautifully around the neck to present uniformed ruffles. I absoutely adored this blouse when I found it in my favourite vintage store/charity shop Retromania in Pimlico, London. Head there for one of a kind pieces for varied decades, all in the name of charity.

Sian from Style With Friends focuses on delicate ruffles clashing against 80's vibes,
Charley from Captain Charley steps forward in 60's pussybow ruffles and mini dress,
Little old me in the middle!
Jamie from Petite Panoply adds colour and edge to a clean ruffled blouse,
Karolina from Purpurowakaruzela takes the casual ruffle and pairs down with military detailing.

  1. That blouse is so rad! Also - dying over how perfectly straight your bangs are!
