Friday 9th saw the sixth bi-annual London Collections: Men hit the catwalks to show the best if British mens fashion. I was filming for Who's Jack Magazine to capture the action backstage, on the catwalk, at presentation, street style and the general vibe of the event. I absolutely adore mens fashion and have always preferred it to women's. I enjoy accepting my other half's hand me downs and wearing my dads jumpers.
My favourite backstage show I attended was Oliver Spencer AW15 at The Old Sorting Office, which featured gypsy band The Turbans preparing to perform live on the catwalk. I managed to capture some great shots of the band warming up with their instruments. Straight after the show, we caught up with Oliver Spencer himself for an interview.
Ada x Nik presented their AW15 collection on the catwalk at the fabulous ME Hotel and was my favourite catwalk I filmed at LCM this season. Mainly an all black collection, the looks were a mixture of textures and shapes; with my favourite being the long pleated piece that floated behind the model as he walked. Straight after the party started and the gins were flowing freely.
Fudge were on hand with their pop up hair salon at Victoria House, to perk up hair with a fresh cut or refresh your look with a new style. I didn't want my hair cut, so I left my hair in the capable hand of the lovely Chloe to style my hair however she wanted! I have short hair so I didn't think there was much you could do with it, however I was proved very wrong. Chloe created the most beautiful plaited up do which looked great from every angle and stayed in well, considering the gale force winds at the weekend! I was very sad to take it down at the end of the day, but will definitely have my hair done again in the same way. Check out my hair in the Instagram photos below.
Keep your eyes peeled for the videos coming up over the next week.
