The sun finally came out again at the weekend so I headed to Chalkwell beach to drink beer, bathe in the heat and pretend I was somewhere abroad. I was really looking forward to a nice paddle in the sea but unfortunately the sea was out. We had a wander round the mud and pools of sea water, spotting crabs, little fish and watching Nathan get stuck in the mud.
