Swedish footwear brand Vagabond have done it again. With an emphasis on detail and high platforms, Vagabond have established themselves as the go to brand for Winter footwear for the second year running. I bought my first pair of vagabonds over a year ago now and fell in love with their 90's style chunkiness and slick black leather finish.
The signature 90's chunky heel style is still evident in their A/W14 collection, however they've jazzed it up a bit and offered a wider variety of styles. Fabric mix boots seems to be quite popular at the minute, with various brands offering an alternative to leather. I love the platform curved heel style of the Tereza styles, it fits in well well the current 70's theme this Autumn. The Norah styles feature a higher platform than their regular chunky styles, I wonder if they are something you could wear everyday? I probably would wear these everyday, but would have to watch out for cobblestones and uneven pavement!
The chunky heels may put you off, however I can assure you they are very comfortable for every day wear and it doesn't feel like your wearing high shoes. The boots are very narrow, so I would suggest going up a size if your worried about the fit. I have bunions and have stretched the boots, however next time I will be going up a size.
I'm currently wearing the Dioon chelsea style boots but I've had them for 6 months now, I think it's time for a change. I've got my eye on the Norah buckle boots!
Radness. I'd pretty much wear all of these, but unfortunately I'm poor, so.... haha :D <3
