Inspired by the recent Lichtenstein frenzy around his retrospective of comic style paintings, makeup blogger Emma Pickles has created an amazing look. Check out her video tutorial below on how to turn your face into a pop art inspired piece of art. Ideal for themed parties, but not an everyday work look!

The comic style has influenced collections of clothing brands such as Topshop, who have splashed prints over skirts, dresses and tops. You can wear Lichtenstein on your face and on your clothes!

'Lichtenstein: A Retrospective' has recently ended at the Tate Modern, however if you missed it like me, the Tate have a couple of Lichtenstein's pieces in their private collection for free public viewing, so head on down.

For more information on the Tate and Lichtenstein visit the Tate website.

Check out Emma Pickles' blog and Youtube page for more makeup tutorials, seriously worth a look.
