It's officially the 1st December and only 3 weeks and 3 days until Christmas. Normally I'm a bit of a Scrooge when it comes to the festive season, but I think having an advent calender this year has brought my spirits up. In the first window of my Lindt calender, I found a a chocolate reindeer in the shape of a bunny! By looking at the calender I can guess that I won't be getting another one, however I do have a large Santa shaped window to open on Christmas eve. The three main chocolate surprises to look forward to this month are: milk chocolate squares, milk chocolate snow drops that contain a creamy double milk filling and milk chocolate truffles with a smooth melting filing. I gave my mum the Yankee Candle advent calender last week, as an early Christmas present. She happily opened her first door today, to receive a small tea light sized candle in Angel Wings. I have a cold right now, so unfortunately can't describe to you the smell. However, my mum says it's great! Who doesn't love a Yankee Candle!
